The Avanti experience

J doesn't like loathes couscous. He discovered this after dining at Avanti in Vincent Park a few years ago. Thanks to that experience he has never taken me there. So on Wednesday afternoon after voting and errands accomplished, I twisted his arm to try out their food for lunch. After all, M was in town and we had to try something new. Avanti it was, and boy are we glad to report they didn't serve couscous! In fact their lunch time menu was packed with delicious sandwiches, salads, and other tasty morsels. And who served us? Well none other than our dear brother Hyrum who is extremely efficient and courteous (ask for him to serve you!).
J had a shrimp salad:

L had a bacon, feta & mushroom panini served with crisps that probably went straight to the hips, they were THAT scrumptious!

The best part was being there with the most important people - family!
