Two months ago our brother Hyrum left the homeland to serve the Lord for two years in London, England on an LDS mission. During the next two years we will have the wonderful opportunity to speak to him 4 times - on Mothers Day and Christmas. Yesterday, being mum's day, at 20:45 we got to not only speak to him, but see him also, all thanks to the brilliant invention of Skype! All of us were anxious to speak to him, excited to see the face we so love and miss.
And we are happy to report that little brother is doing well! He is working hard preaching the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. He is experiencing the challenges of British transportation and learning to budget well. He is an effective missionary and touching many peoples' lives. Most importantly he is happy, and that right there makes his absence worth it. :)
