Simple pleasures

I think this is what life is about - enjoying the simple things that make up your day to day existence.

• I take great pleasure running my hands over the pretty flowers adorning our neighbourhood whilst on  weekly walks with Molly.
• Watching Molls sleep curled up on our red fleecy blanket usually draped over my lap to keep the winter chill at bay.
• Indulging in fresh Cara Cara oranges which are in fact pink inside, not orange! What a novelty! I usually place 3 in the blender to make freshly squeezed pink o.j. Admittedly, those became my dinner for two nights this past week. Can't help myself...there's nothing like thick pulp!
• Serving fresh salads to J every night for his new diet (protein shakes for breakfast and lunch, salad for dinner) to bulk up.
